Dive in and discover God’s underwater universe! Explore the depths of God’s Word at VBS 2012 - Operation Overboard – Dare To Go Deep With God! VBS - July 23-27, 2012, 4:45 - 8:00 p.m. nightly.*Dinner served at 4:45 p.m., see below for details.

In this action-packed adventure, your kids will swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play. Through interactive lessons that are easy for kids to apply to their lives today, they will “go deep” into God’s Word, exploring Bible stories of people who revealed deep faith by knowing how to:

• Depend on God
• Dare to care
• Claim Jesus
• Choose to follow
• Change the world

Operation Overboard VBS is open to all children, ages 3 years to kids entering 5th grade in Fall 2012 school year.  All children are invited to join us for a free dinner at 4:45 - 5:15 p.m. each night.  (Parents are encouraged to stay with their child during dinner, dinners for parents are just $3.)  

After dinner, all children will enjoy our opening assembly with puppetry, praise music, and DVD presentation.  Kids will then travel together to our Chapel for Bible point through drama and storytelling.  Following the Bible time, children (K-5th graders) will rotate between special themed activity stations: Crafts, Science, and Recreation.  Preschoolers (3 and 4 yr olds) will have their own VBS classroom experience, complete with activities - crafts, science, and recreation.  VBS will close each evening with praise and worship, and a time of reflection with their age group leader.
